The American Physiological Society confers a variety of honors, awards, and methods of recognition on its members. The Society places a high priority on ethical conduct and breaking down longstanding barriers to excellence for ALL of its members. Consequently, the Society retains the right to revoke such recognition if a member is known to violate the ethical standards of the Society. Unethical conduct can include sexual harassment and other forms of discrimination.
