Have you been impacted by unemployment or other unforeseen financial hardship and are unable to pay your American Physiological Society (APS) membership? APS has established a membership fund supported by the donations of current members to assist you with your membership dues.

Criteria: To qualify for this assistance, you must be an APS member that is currently up for renewal.

Dues assistance policy: dues discounts and waivers apply for the current membership year only. Dues will be billed at the full rate for the following year. If still facing financial hardship at the time of renewal, the member must go through the application process. If eligible, this financial assistance can be in place for a maximum of two (2) years.

To request assistance confidentially, please complete the below questionnaire, and a representative from the APS membership department will reach out to you within 5 business days.

 
Membership Assistance Program Terms
  • All applications are kept confidential.
  • Applications will be reviewed and subject to approval based on criteria eligibility.
  • The amount of financial support will be determined upon application review.
  • Only current members are eligible.
  • If you’ve already paid for your membership then no membership refunds will be granted.
  • Cannot be applied to previous membership renewals.
  • Eligible for membership dues only.
  • Financial assistance from the Membership Fund will be available will be available until all monies are depleted.
  • Member will retain access to all APS membership benefits.
