Award Description
The Physiological -Omics Group (POG) Distinguished Lectureship Award recognizes a distinguished researcher in the area of physiological -omics (e.g., genomics, proteomics, metabolomics). This award is co-sponsored by Physiological Genomics and APS strategic partner, ADInstruments.
Eligibility
The applicant must:
- prove significant contribution to a field of physiology in developing or using –omics technologies and data analysis, e.g., high throughput sequencing, genomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics, multi-omics or other big data analyses.
Criteria
The application package includes:
- a one-page nomination letter describing the significance, quality, innovation, and relevance of the nominee’s current area of physiological -omics research and the merit of the nominee in scholarly and research efforts ; and
- curriculum vitae
