The John F. Perkins, Jr. Research Career Enhancement Award (RCEA) is designed to enhance the career potential of the awardee. The award of up to $20,000 allows an individual in the early phases of his/her career to obtain special training or an individual in the later phases of his/her career to develop new skills or retrain in areas of developing interest.
