Illustrator - Embedded Raster Images

Vector files can contain both vector and raster elements.

It is important that all raster images that are imported/placed/embedded in your Illustrator file have been created or scanned at the appropriate resolution for final print production.

TIPS:

- Resizing captured images in Photoshop before placement (more info)

- You can make a PDF from any application and open it in Illustrator; retaining all of its vector-qualities
