 Resolution

Always prepare original graphics at print publication-quality resolution. When your manuscript is accepted for publication, APS will require the high-resolution files for print output.

IMPORTANT: You can not increase the resolution of a raster image once it is set. Attempting to increase the resolution will add "data" and "noise" to the image which will decrease the quality further.

These values apply to all Raster (pixel-based) images. Vector images are resolution-independent. (more info)
