JN Cover Image Submission

APS and the Editor of the Journal of Neurophysiology encourage authors to submit images for the cover of the journal.

Authors may submit:

• full concept pieces

• images taken directly from the article

• images taken from research directly related to article

Acceptable File Types:

• TIFF

• JPEG (best for submission stage only)

• PSD (Photoshop document - layers preferred)

• AI (Adobe Illustrator)

• EPS

• PPT (PowerPoint)

• PDF

It is always best to prepare your submissions at publication size and quality. If the image is intended for the full cover, then it should be created at that size.

For the submission stage, you can create low-resolution versions to send by e-mail.

Submissions can be sent as attachments to: jncover@the-aps.org
