Font Size

**These apply if you are submitting your figures at the size they are to be printed**

Fonts /Symbols: 

Use Arial, Helvetica, Times or Times New Roman and Symbol only, if possible.  This reduces the number of dropped characters / missing symbols.  Choose one font and use it consistently throughout figures. 

Use the Windows character map or the Apple/Macintosh character palette to insert special characters for the above three fonts such as these common symbols: 

 

NOTE: If you can’t find the character map in windows, it may need to be installed.     

Font Size Keep fonts between 5-14 points, final size *.
