Make Up Your Own Mind
“Make Up Your Own Mind” is a video presentation developed by the Physiological Society of the U.K., in collaboration with GlaxoSmithKline, the Coalition for Medical Progress and The Biomedical Research Education Trust. “Make Up Your Own Mind” is a 19-min film that asks viewers to give serious consideration to the question of whether animal research is necessary. It includes interviews with patients, researchers, physicians and lab animal veterinarians. The commentary emphasizes the need for serious debate because both human and animal lives are in the balance, urging viewers not to let that debate be “drowned out by shouting and accusations.” To access this video, go to http://clients.mediaondemand.net/PhysiologicalSociety/Animalsinresearch/.
