Making an Appointment

EB participants are encouraged to meet with their legislators during EB 2007 on Monday, April 30, Tuesday, May 1, and Wednesday, May 2. You are most likely to get an appointment if you, the constituent, schedule it. The Science Policy staff from the participating EB societies will be happy to offer guidance and materials.

While most visits themselves are typically about 30 minutes in length, we recommend, that you set aside a total of 2 hours of time. This allows time for travel to and from Capitol Hill, time to clear through security, and possible delay in scheduled visit. We encourage you to meet with your Congressional Representative and Senate offices.
