NIGMS Releases RFA for Training for a New Interdisciplinary Research Workforce NIGMS has released a new $6 million RFA for Training for a New Interdisciplinary Research Workforce. The grants will be awarded through a new award called the T90, which combines research and NRSA authorities in a single mechanism. According to an announcement from NIGMS, the Roadmap initiative places special emphasis on developing a new interdisciplinary workforce. Biophysics, biostatistics, bioinformatics, bioengineering, social neuroscience, and psychoneuroimmunology are provided as some examples of existing interdisciplinary sciences. Letters of intent must be submitted by February 10 with applications due on March 10 for an anticipated award date of September 30, 2004. The RFA may be viewed on line here |
