The Microbiome-Human Host Interactions Contributing to Cardiovascular and Inflammatory Disease

Recent metagenomic studies have contributed to our knowledge and understanding of the increasingly important role of the microbiome-human host interaction in human health and disease. The current call for papers centers around any aspect of the microbiome influencing inflammation and cardiovascular disease. We will accept original research or review manuscripts that explore the microbiome influencing these disease states independently or in combination. We would particularly welcome papers with large-scale -omic and meta-omic data sets that explore the relationships of these common diseases that may impact the future development of disease and the identification of genetic factors influencing disease risk. The deadline for this new call is December 31, 2019. For further presubmission enquiries, please contact Dr. Martin McBride (Martin.McBride@glasgow.ac.uk).
