The past 5 years have seen major advances in our ability to study different types of stem cells from pancreas, liver and gastrointestinal tract. This call for papers requests high quality, mechanistic papers related to the role of stem cells in normal physiology, injury or disease. This includes methods for isolation and utilization of stem cells in disease models and novel approaches to stem cell phenotyping in different physiological contexts.
