Curricular Integration of Physiology

Advances in Physiology Education is soliciting the submission of original manuscripts that address methodological approaches to integrate the basic sciences, including physiology, in graduate or health professional programs. The integration of the basic sciences with other disciplines is particularly challenging in organ-based courses within health professional programs. There is particular interest in approaches—especially those based on critical thinking and problem solving—that advance student understanding of basic science principles and key concepts that span and connect multiple organ systems.

Contributing authors should indicate in their cover letter that their submission is in response to this Call for Papers. Standard peer review procedures will be followed. When accepted for publication, articles will be identified as responses to this Call.
