Circadian rhythms or time-of-day effects in renal physiology, the urinary system, blood pressure or volume and electrolyte regulation

The American Journal of Physiology - Renal Physiology is seeking manuscripts to be submitted specifically related to Circadian rhythms or time-of-day effects in renal physiology, the urinary system, blood pressure or volume and electrolyte regulation. It is becoming increasingly clear that the circadian rhythms in physiology are important for overall health. Thus, this call for papers coincides with a new editorial effort to encourage all authors to include the time of day at which measurements were made or data collected for all submitted manuscripts regardless of topic.

Authors should indicate in their letter to the editor and the online submission form under “Manuscript Type” that the submitted manuscript is in response to a Special Call for Papers. Accepted manuscripts will be published under a distinct heading and will receive special attention and handling. Only those papers not requiring extensive revision will be published under this call. Manuscripts submitted for this call will be handled by Dr. Michelle Gumz who will serve as Guest Editor

Deadline for Submission: June 30, 2019
