The Physiological Genomics Group is soliciting nominations from the members of APS for "The Outstanding Paper by a Junior Investigator" that was published in "Physiological Genomics" during 2012. The nominees must have received their Ph.D. during the last 10 years and be the first author for a paper which has clearly advanced the field. Post-doctoral fellows and graduate students are also eligible. The Young Investigator Award ($500) will be presented at the 2013 Experimental Biology Meeting in Boston, MA.
Please send nominations along with a brief statement of the impact of this paper on its field and a CV of the nominee to Dr. David Gozal, Chair Physiological Genomics Awards Committee (dgozal@uchicago.edu) by March 15, 2013.
