The Founders Circle
Honoring the founders of the American Physiological Society and their role in advancing physiology, The Founders Circle recognizes the Society’s most generous donors to APS programs.
Individuals who make gifts of $250 or more to the APS general program funds in a given year (January 1 - December 31) become members of The Founders Circle, according them special recognition for their generosity and leadership. If they wish, donors may designate gifts to one or more program areas, including:
- education and diversity,
- career and research development,
- international affairs, or
- science policy and public outreach.
The APS recognizes members of The Founders Circle in several ways. Members receive an invitation to the Presidents Reception at Experimental Biology and are listed on the Society’s website, in the annual report and March edition of The Physiologist.
