The Joint Managing Board of Physiological Reports, representing the Publication Committees of the American Physiological Society and The Physiological Society, is pleased to announce the following Editor appointments to the Journal:

Thomas R. Kleyman, M.D., Chief of the Renal-Electrolyte Division of the Department of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh, has been appointed to succeed Professor Susan Wray, as Editor-in-Chief of Physiological Reports.  Susan Wray is Founding Editor in Chief of the Journal. The editorship will change hands on January 1, 2018.  Tom has served as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Physiological Reports since the journal’s launch in 2013 and is a former Editor-in-Chief of AJP-Renal Physiology

Professor Morten Bækgaard Thomsen, Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen has been appointed as Deputy Editor-in Chief, succeeding Thomas Kleyman.  Professor Thomsen has served as an Associate Editor of the Journal since July 2015.
