The Role of Eye Movements in Perception, Cognition, and Action

The study of eye movements continues to provide foundational principles upon which our knowledge of movement control fundamentals rests. The study of eye movements also provides insights into a variety of cognitive processes including attention and decision making. This Call is for manuscripts related to the psychophysics and physiology underlying the control of eye movements and for psychophysical and physiological studies using eye movements in an effort to gain insight into the principles underlying perceptual processes and higher mental function including attention, social behavior, reading and scene perception, and decision making in human and animal subjects.
