Call for Papers: Renal Hemodynamics
Deadline for Submission: June 30, 2017
The American Journal of Physiology - Renal Physiology is seeking manuscripts to be submitted specifically related to biomolecular control of renal hemodynamics and the integration of vascular and tubular function in health and disease. This call for papers is in conjunction with the 2016 FASEB Summer Research Conference on Renal Hemodynamics held June 19–24, 2016 in Big Sky, MT. Submitted papers should address the central themes of hormonal, neural or molecular control of renal hemodynamics, integration of vascular and tubular function, or pathophysiology of renal hemodynamics. A particular focus is the contribution of obesity and metabolic disease to renal disease and hypertension.
Authors should indicate in their letter to the editor and in the online submission form under “Manuscript Type” that the submitted manuscript is in response to a Special Call for Papers. Accepted manuscripts will be published under a distinct heading and will receive special attention and handling. Only those papers not requiring extensive revision will be published under this call. If you currently have a manuscript on this topic that has already been submitted and would like it to be included in this Special Call, please contact Dr. Darwin Bell, Editor in Chief via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
