Review article description
We are soliciting Review articles that illuminate normal or abnormal regulation and integration of physiological mechanisms at all levels of biological organization, ranging from molecules to humans, including clinical investigations. Major areas of emphasis include regulation in genetically modified animals; model organisms and comparative functional genomics; development and tissue plasticity; neurohumoral control of circulation and hypertension; local control of circulation; cardiac and renal integration; thirst and volume, electrolyte homeostasis; appetite and obesity, and inflammation and cytokines.

Including references and figure legends, the manuscripts will be limited to no more than 5,000 words and may include up to a total combination 4 figures/tables. Assistance with artwork may be offered for submissions that are accepted for publication.

Selection Process
Associate Editors responsible for the review of submitted manuscripts will be asked to secure two independent reviews of each manuscript and to review the manuscript themselves. One revision will be allowed; however, the revised manuscript must be received no later than September 1, 2017. The final determination of the award recipients will be made after all candidate manuscripts and their CVs have been reviewed and a poll of the Associate Editors completed. Manuscripts not selected for the awards will be published as regular Reviews. The Editors will select up to five Award Recipients, each receiving an honorarium of $1,000.  Following acceptance, all submitted Reviews will be published by the Journal in 2017, under a special heading.
