Gastrointestinal Motor, Secretory, and Sensory Functions

Gastrointestinal motor, secretory and sensory functions are pivotal to digestion and sensation in health and disease. Studies exploring these mechanisms constitute important steps to identify therapeutic approaches to intraluminal factors, as well as the intrinsic and extrinsic control of these pivotal functions. Such studies may include diverse methods directed at molecular targets that provide proof of the role in physiology or the potential in therapeutics and will be of great interest to readers of the American Journal of Physiology – Gastrointestinal and Liver Physiology. Deadline: 12/1/17.
