AJP-Cell announces the appointment of a new Associate Editor, Dr. Thomas Hawke
AJP-Cell Physiology is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Associate Editor, Dr. Thomas Hawke.

Dr. Hawke is a member of the Dept. of Pathology and Molecular Medicine and an Associate Member of Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences at at McMaster University, Ontario, Canada. His research for the Ph.D. degree was undertaken at University of Guelph and subsequent post-doctoral research at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Dallas.

Dr. Hawke’s research interests are in the cell and molecular physiology of skeletal muscle, including the roles of muscle satellite cells in health and disease, including diabetes mellitus and limb girdle muscular dystrophy. He is a long-term member of APS and currently serves as Vice-President on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology.
