The APS has been hosting an annual workshop for high school teachers and/or students at its annual meeting, Experimental Biology, since 1992 (see Resources below). The project was an initiative of then APS President, Dr. Norman C. Staub. For nearly 20 years, this program has facilitated interactions among students, teachers, and physiologists and highlighted the excitement of physiology research and careers.
