2012 APS Intersociety Meeting

General Information for Registration

Abstract Deadline:

The deadline for the submission of abstracts is June 20, 2012.

Registration Deadlines and Fees:

The registration fee includes entry into all scientific sessions, opening reception and poster sessions and socials. The registration fee does not include your abstract or housing payments. These are separate payments. Register early! The registration deadline is September 5, 2012

Registration:

To register, please choose from one of the three registration methods below. Once your registration has been received by the APS office, it will be processed and entered into the registration system.

Badges and receipts will be mailed to advance domestic registrants before the meeting.  If you did not receive or lost your meeting badge prior to the conference, please come to the registration desk for a replacement. Foreign registrants may pick up their conference badge, receipt, and other meeting materials at the registration desk.

On-Site Registration:

On-site registration will be available beginning daily on Wednesday, October 10 at 5:00 PM.

Registration and Payment Options:

You may register for the meeting in one of the following ways:

*Fax:  Registration is now closed.

The American Physiological Society accepts the following major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, and American Express for registration payment. The American Physiological Society also accepts both personal and institute checks. All checks must be made out in US Dollars, drawn from a US bank and made payable to The American Physiological Society. Please make sure that the check accompanies a completed registration form to avoid processing delays. Please note that the American Physiological Society does not accept purchase orders for registration payments. Please use a credit card or check.

Program/Abstract Volume:

All abstracts submitted for this conference will be bound with the official program and handed out onsite. These abstracts are considered in press of The Physiologist. They will appear in the December 2012 issue and should be cited as "program number [#], in press". All registrants should come to the onsite Registration Desk to receive a copy of the program. You must show your registration badge to obtain a program.

Continuing Medical Education (CME):

Continuing Medical Education credits will not be available for this conference.

Invitation Letters and Visa Processing for Foreign Attendees:

Please note that APS will only send invitation letters to the person requesting the letter. All person’s requesting an invitation letter must be registered for the conference. The invitation letter does not constitute any financial assistance for the meeting.
