Call for Travel Award Applications: 2003 APS Conference,Banff, Canada

The organizers of the 2003 APS Conference "Aldosterone and ENaC: From Genetics to Physiology" have received a grant from the International Society of Nephrology to encourage the participation of non-North American trainee attendees to this meeting.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION IS JULY 1, 2003

Eligibility:

1. Graduate Students or Postdoctoral Fellows only
2. Only one award per research lab will be granted
3. Participants from North America are NOT eligible

Funding Levels:

• Participants from Europe: $500 USD

• All other countries EXcluding Europe or North America: $750 USD

Application Process:

Each trainee should email the following information to:

5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (US) on Tuesday, July 1, 2003:

1. Applicant Name, full mailing address, phone/fax and email address
2. Name and address of applicant's supervisor (NOTE: Inclusion of the supervisor's contact information is assurance that he/she supports the application).
3. A brief (maximum of 1500 characters, including spaces) abstract of your research (NOTE: Those who submitted an abstract for presentation at the meeting can simply forward a copy of that abstract). Applicants will be notified by July 31, 2003.
