Registration Deadlines and Fees

The registration fee includes entry into all scientific sessions, opening reception and poster sessions. Register early and save! The advance registration deadline is August 7, 2009.

*Member refers to a member in good standing of the American Physiological Society. You must supply proof of membership when registering.

APS Member Registration

Any person who is a regular member of the American Physiological Society and whose membership dues are current through the end of the year in which the conference is being held. Those registering as an APS member and whose dues have lapsed may either renew their membership dues before registering or register as a nonmember.

Retired APS Member Registration

Any person who is an emeritus member of the American Physiological Society and whose membership dues are current through the end of the year in which the conference is being held.

Nonmember Registration

Any person who is not a member of the American Physiological Society or a member whose membership dues have lapsed.

Postdoctoral Registration

Any person who has received a Ph.D. degree in physiology or related field, within four years of this conference, as attested to by the department head is eligible to register at the postdoctoral fee.  A statement signed by the department head must accompany the registration form and remittance when registering in advance OR onsite. If you have received your Ph.D. after the four years, please register as a member or nonmember. If you would prefer to email your letter certifying your postdoctoral status, please send it to: meetings@the-aps.org or you may simply fax it to: 1-301-634-7264.

Student Registration

Any student member or regularly matriculated student working toward a degree in one of the biomedical sciences is eligible to register at the student fee.  Nonmember postdoctoral fellows, hospital residents and interns, and laboratory technicians do not qualify as students.  For nonmember students, certification of eligibility signed by the department head or research advisor must accompany the remittance for advance student registration. Member students need only supply the APS membership ID number. Students who register onsite must provide either: a certificate or letter signed by the department head or a current student ID card or, their current APS membership card indicating their student category status.
