Little Shrimpers: A Brine Shrimp Activity

In this inquiry-based activity, students explore the responses of brine shrimp to environmental stimuli. In small groups, students will design experiments, collect and analyze data, and present their findings. Directions for starting and maintaining brine shrimp cultures are provided along with directions for building a simple brine shrimp hatchery from a 2-liter bottle.
Appropriate Levels: Grades 4-5, 6-8
