Teacher and Faculty Opportunities The APS offers a number of fellowships, awards, and opportunities specifically for minority teachers and faculty and educators at minority-serving institutions. These fellowships are designed to not only provide important financial resources for the educator but to also offer opportunities to build connections with the physiology community. Note: Fellowships for postdoctoral students can be found on the Student Fellowships and Awards page. Please note that these programs have specific eligibility requirements in terms of educational level/degree, institution type, and racial/ethnic group. Some require U.S. citizenship or a permanent resident visa. Please read the application materials carefully. Click for more >> Frontiers in Physiology Program Professional development program for middle and high school teachers Click for more >> Explorations in Biomedicine Program Provides summer research fellowships in physiology for K-12 teachers at Native American-serving institutions and undergraduate faculty working at tribal colleges or Native American-serving colleges and universities. Includes stipend, travel and living expenses, and meeting travel costs.
