When is my Fellowship Acceptance form due?
We need to have the acceptance forms ASAP in order to process your award. After you have read the award packet carefully, please immediately complete and return the form via email to bbruthers@the-aps.org or fax to 301.634.7098. We must have your form no later than Thursday, January 31, 2008.

What do I do if I have already registered for EB?
Keep your receipt to submit for reimbursement after the meeting.

What do I do if I have NOT registered for EB?
Visit http://www.eb2008.org/Registration.htm to register online. Keep a receipt to submit for reimbursement after the meeting.

I am an undergraduate student. How do I register for EB?
Undergraduate students must wait to register for EB until the arrive in San Diego. Once you’re onsite, visit the Registration Area in the Convention Center.

What do I do if I have already received a travel award from another FASEB society?
Send an email to Ms. Bruthers (see email address above). You may be able to accept both awards, depending on the criteria of each award.

What do I do if I booked a flight and need to change the dates/times?
You will be responsible for any change fees and/or difference in fare. Please read the APS Airline Policy.

Can I get a travel advance?
Yes. We can make arrangements for a monetary advance up to $400.00 prior to the conference. See the form attached.

How do I get reimbursed for my expenses?
At the NIDDK Orientation/Porter Reception, you will receive an orientation packet, which will include a Travel Expense Report and Evaluation Survey. (A completed survey is required to receive reimbursement). Fill out the forms, enclose your original receipts and return them to the APS Education Office by the deadline. Be sure to keep a copy for yourself. You will receive a check in approximately three weeks after the date the voucher/worksheet AND evaluation forms are received.

When do I find out who my meeting mentor is?
You will receive an email from Ms. Bruthers prior to the meeting. This message will be an e-introduction to your mentor and will include contact information, as well as suggestions on how to interact during the meeting. top

What do I do if my poster session is at the same time as one of the Travel Fellows events?
Please send an email to Ms. Bruthers to let her know you may need to leave early or may arrive late. |
