CELL MEMBRANE
A: The
cell membrane is one of the organelles of a cell. Mammalian cells
contain a nucleus surrounded by a nuclear membrane and the cytoplasm surrounded
by a cell membrane. The cell membrane determines what can enter or
leave the cell. Not all molecules can enter or leave cells.
Thus, cell membranes are known as selectively permeable or semi-permeable
membranes.
