Embryonic Development of Zebrafish
Grade Level: Elementary-High School 
Subject:
Developmental Physiology 

Students observe zebrafish through seven stages of development, breeding the zebrafish themselves in the classroom. This lesson is geared toward a class of 15 or fewer students, who will record data, hypothesize, design and conduct experiments, and draw conclusions about zebrafish development. The activity fits into parts of the curriculum dealing with the development of animals, and can be used as an introduction for a unit on the development of other life forms.
