Evaluation of Course Ongoing evaluation is the key to increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of any course. For the medical physiology course, it is essential. Formative feedback allows the course director and instructors to make mid-course adjustments to accommodate the particular group of students or situational changes. Summative feedback allows the assessment of the overall effectiveness of the course in accomplishing its goals. These evaluation strategies require input from multiple sources.
