The LCME has given several workshops over the past 6-8 years at the College of Medicine focusing on good question writing. Example books are also available as are examples of “best practices.” We have “toyed” with the idea of having lunch-time meetings (once every 2 weeks) where the instructors would get together and write USMLE-type questions as a group - so far this has not been implemented.
