Rubrics

How about some sample rubrics? Cathy Box (2005 RT) shared the following examples...

RubiStar is also a popular and free tool to help you create quality rubrics. Find the resource at: http://rubistar.4teachers.org

Student Worksheet Samples

Sample Student Experimental Design handouts. Consider adapting one of these for your lab/activity. The first one is short and sweet, while the second one (from the WISE “Taste” unit) is more involved. The students are first asked to state their question before writing a hypothesis. Also check out the samples from the 2008 Works in Progress book of activities from last year’s Research Teachers.
