  2003 Mentoring Symposium on 
"Presentation Skills"

This workshop is on “Presentation Skills” and will cover topics including elements of good oral and poster presentations, how to share science with the public and media, and interviewing skills. Four panelists will discuss these topics. After the talks, a breakout session is planned to promote active participation of the audience and young scientists in best practices for each topic. The target audience is young scientists of both genders interested in learning skills for their future careers. The workshop also offers a venue for networking between junior and senior scientists.
