Meetings

The American Physiological Society sponsors a number of scientific meetings each year. Experimental Biology, the APS annual meeting, is conducted jointly with other FASEB member societies. In addition to its annual meeting, specialized APS Conferences are held throughout the year that focus on designated areas of physiological research.

Experimental Biology (EB)

The spring annual meeting is convened jointly with other biomedical societies. Beijing Physiology 2008

Beijing Physiology, a joint physiological society meeting, was held October 19-22, 2008 in Beijing. The APS was joined by several of our sister societies to sponsor a scientific meeting in Beijing, China. The joint meeting was planned in recognition of the important role Chinese scientists play in our research laboratories and the growing prominence of physiological research in China. The meeting was hosted by the Chinese Association for Physiological Sciences (CAPS) and involved the participation of the American Physiological Society, Australian Physiological Society (AuPS), Canadian Physiological Society (CPS), and The Physiological Society (UK).
